Overview

"My work depicts wildflowers that attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies. By integrating the plants with their environments and depicting the variety in their roots, stalks, leaves, and flowering parts, I wish to preserve their living energy. The plants, by being rooted in the ground and reaching up above the horizon, act as connectors of land and sky. They help connect us to the larger natural world." - John Knight
