Overview
In an era of increasing disconnection from the natural world, birds remain among our most intimate wild companions. We find them in our cities and farmlands, in the deepest forests and hottest deserts, on snowy mountains and out on the open ocean waters. They occupy a unique position in our collective consciousness. They are simultaneously commonplace and miraculous—creatures we encounter daily yet whose capacity for flight continues to inspire wonder. This exhibition examines our profound relationship with birds through the lens of contemporary artistic practice.
