Tracey Jones

Shortly after receiving her MFA from Syracuse University in 1974, Tracey Jones moved to Manhattan to pursue the active life of a painter, and has painted steadily since then. She has received five one person exhibitions in Manhattan at the Elizabeth Harris Gallery, and two at the Ober gallery in Kent. She exhibited solo both at Rowan University and Rider University. Her work has appeared in numerous group shows; among them the Max Hutchinson Gallery in New York, the Museo de Art Moderno in Bogota, Columbia, J. Johnson Gallery in Jacksonville, Florida, and the Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster, New Jersey, as well as several institutions of higher learning around the country. Laudatory reviews have appeared in The New York Times, The Newark Star Ledger, Art in America, and Arts Magazine. She has made her home and studio in Trenton, New Jersey since 1993.
